Oblęgorek holds a special place among the residences of the Świętokrzyskie region - it is associated with Henryk Sienkiewicz, who received the estate as a gift for the jubilee of his creative work. An eclectic manor with neo-Gothic and neo-Renaissance elements was built here.
Today it houses one of the most recognisable literary museums in the region - the Henryk Sienkiewicz Museum, a branch of the National Museum in Kielce, with preserved interiors and mementoes of the writer.
