The hunting castle in Promnice is located in the village of Kobiór on Lake Paprocany. It arose out of the hunting passion of the counts von Hochberg, who hosted distinguished guests invited to hunts in the Pszczyna Forests here.
The neo-Gothic building remains connected with the Castle Museum in Pszczyna. Today it serves as a hotel and restaurant, surrounded by the Pszczyna forests.
