The museum is housed in the historic 18th-century Mniszech Palace (later the Tarnowski family palace). Between 1764 and 1778 the palace was one of the important centres of cultural and political life in Poland.
Today it is a must-see stop for group and individual tours. Visits are guided (in Polish, German and English by prior reservation).
Open daily except on selected holidays. Tour groups are asked to book by phone, e-mail or fax.
