The Renaissance-Baroque palace in Rogów Opolski is situated on an escarpment above the Oder. The residence, with defensive features and a moat, belonged among others to the Haugwitz family.
Today the palace houses a branch of the Regional Public Library in Opole, holding valuable special collections and early prints. The site is among the Opole residences open to visitors.
