Medieval castle ruins surrounded by a moat, preserved as a permanent ruin and part of the complex of the Museum in Międzyrzecz.
The castle lies in Międzyrzecz (Międzyrzecz County), on the site of an early medieval stronghold from the second half of the 9th century, surrounded by a moat.
The masonry castle was built around 1350 on the initiative of Casimir the Great on the site of an earlier stronghold. The structure has survived as a permanent ruin and is administered by the director of the Museum of the Międzyrzecz Region.
The castle ruins with a gate and walls, the moat, and a path around the complex; museum buildings are located nearby.
