Trail through the Jeleniów Range to Szczytniak

A little-frequented, wild section of the red Main Świętokrzyski Trail named after Edmund Massalski, running through the Jeleniów Range with its highest peak Szczytniak (554 m a.s.l.).

Attractions

  • frost-shattered rock fields protected in the "Szczytniak", "Małe Gołoborze" and "Góra Jeleniowska" reserves
  • fragments of primeval fir-beech forest
  • rubble of quartzitic sandstones

Route

Traversing the entire range takes about 5-6 h. A black trail from Nowa Słupia also leads to Szczytniak.
