The relics of the Upper Castle, seat of the Piasts of Opole, on display at Mikołaj Kopernik Square in Opole.
The Upper Castle was erected in the years 1382-1387 during the reign of Duke Władysław II Opolczyk. In the 16th century it was seriously damaged and lost its importance, and in 1615 it was further destroyed by the great fire of Opole. The uncovered and secured relics were opened to tourists in 2018.
The relics have been open to visitors since 2018.
