Location and surroundings

One of the oldest open-air museums in Poland, located in Olsztynek in Warmia and Masuria.

History

The museum collects monuments of folk architecture from Warmia, Masuria, Powiśle and Lithuania Minor. The collections have their roots in an open-air museum originally established in Königsberg.

On the grounds there are cottages, a church, windmills, an inn and farm buildings.
