Ethnographic Park on the Węgorapa in Węgorzewo

Location and surroundings

An open-air museum on the Węgorapa River in Węgorzewo, run by the Museum of Folk Culture.

History

The origins of the museum date back to 1994, when the first structures were erected - a fire station and a smithy from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.

What to see

The site currently features, among others, 3 Masurian wooden cottages with arcades, a farm building (from the early 19th century) and a residential house from the second half of the 19th century. The buildings also serve as workshops for vanishing crafts (weaving, ceramics, artificial flowers).
