Museum of the Village of Markowa - Open-Air Museum (Farmstead)

A community museum of Umgebinde (post-and-frame) architecture run by the Society of Friends of Markowa - the only one of its kind in Poland. It makes seven fully furnished buildings available to visitors.

What you can see

  • An Umgebinde peasant cottage from 1874, a stable, a barn with a coach house, a granary
  • A windmill, a poor peasant's cottage, straw beehives (skeps) and a well with a crane
