The Market Square in Biecz is a square in the centre of this historic town, once one of the more important centres of old Poland (Biecz is sometimes called 'little Kraków'). The square has exceptional historical, cultural and social significance.
At the centre of the square stands a town hall with a tower 53 metres high, housing the Municipal Office in Biecz. The town hall tower is a characteristic element of the town's skyline.
Around the square there are numerous historic townhouses, most of them two-storey.
The square is publicly accessible all year round.
Biecz lies in the Gorlice district; the square is in the town centre.
