Market Square in Tarnowskie Góry

The Market Square in Tarnowskie Góry is a historic square of a former mining town whose mining monuments have been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The square has the shape of a trapezoid - 108 metres long, 75 metres wide in the western part and 52 metres in the eastern part. This irregularity results from the fact that mining works were carried out even in the town centre.

Town hall

The town hall on the square was erected between 1896 and 1898.
