Old Town Market Square in Stargard

The Old Town Market Square in Stargard is one of the city's key squares, serving as the centre of local life since the mid-13th century. It is the largest cluster of monuments in the city.

Buildings

The eastern frontage of the square is formed by the Town Hall, the Guardhouse and two Neo-Baroque townhouses. Nearby rises the Collegiate Church of St Mary. After World War II, some of the historic townhouses were replaced by new buildings.
