The Molotov Line is a belt of Soviet fortifications (concrete combat shelters, anti-tank ditches, barriers) built between 1940 and 1941 along the new border of the USSR with the territories occupied by Germany. The Wielki Dział strongpoint in the Roztocze region includes preserved reinforced concrete combat shelters.
The shelters are accessible on the blue tourist trail through Horyniec-Zdrój, Nowe Brusno, Polanka Horyniecka, Stara Huta, Wielki Dział and Wola Wielka. The interiors are accessible; caution should be exercised when visiting and you should bring your own light source.
Outdoor structures accessible all year. Interiors visited independently or with a guide; a flashlight and caution are required (uncovered openings, ceiling damage).
