A massive above-ground railway shelter about 393 m long and around 12 m high, part of Hitler's wartime headquarters Anlage Süd, built by the Todt Organisation in 1940-1941. A special train was concealed inside the shelter. On 27-28 August 1941, a meeting between Hitler and Mussolini took place here.
The site is open to visitors; nearby (17 km) is the twin shelter tunnel in Strzyżów.
Seasonally from mid-April to the end of September: Tue-Sat approx. 11:00-18:00, Sun 10:00-18:00; limited hours in October, off-season by phone appointment. Visiting time approx. 1 hour.
