Fort 31 St. Benedict

One of the oldest artillery forts of the Kraków Fortress, located on Lasota Hill (Krzemionki). A unique example of mid-19th-century fortification - the only surviving one of three brick structures of the former Kraków Fortress's southern bridgehead and the last tower fort (Maximilian tower) in Poland, built in 1853-1861.

Visiting

The interior is made available only during periodic guided tours organised by organisations promoting the heritage of the Kraków Fortress and by the municipal administrator.
