Fort IX Czerniakow - Museum of Polish Military Technology

A fort forming part of the 19th-century Warsaw Fortress, in Sadyba on Powsinska Street. The fort houses the Museum of Polish Military Technology - a branch of the Polish Army Museum.

Exhibition

The open-air exhibition comprises 500-1000 objects arranged across the fort grounds: tanks, jet aircraft, artillery guns and rocket launchers. Previously the fort also housed the Katyn Museum (relocated in 2015 to the Warsaw Citadel).

Season and hours

Open Tue-Sun 10:00-18:00 (on Tuesday the casemate exhibition is closed). Admission free of charge, free entry on Thursdays.

Cost: Wstep bezplatny; czwartki wstep wolny Opening hours: Wt.-niedz. 10:00-18:00 (we wtorek tylko ekspozycja plenerowa, kazamaty zamkniete)
