Gradowa Hill is an elevation in Gdansk (46 m above sea level) on which the Prussians built a system of fortifications in the 19th century (including Fort Grojec / Grodzisko and the Zubr Bastion), protecting access from the land side. A historic 19th-century fort stands at the top.
The fortress structures house the Hevelianum centre with interactive permanent and temporary exhibitions as well as historical exhibitions (including Time Machine - Man and the Projectile). The site with its viewpoint is accessible free of charge.
Historical exhibitions: Mon-Fri 8:00-16:00, Sat-Sun 10:00-18:00. Entry to the grounds and walking are free of charge, historical exhibitions offer free entry, science centre exhibitions are paid. Visit takes about 1-2 hours.
