Wielka Ksieza Gora Fort

A fortress complex built between 1889 and 1900 as part of the Grudziadz Fortress, comprising two infantry shelters, an ammunition shelter, an armoured howitzer battery and six guardhouses. An exceptional structure is the armoured howitzer battery - one of three surviving in Poland; the shelter's roof contains four armoured turrets for 15 cm howitzers.
