The castle is situated in Tykocin (Podlaskie Voivodeship), at ul. Puchalskiego 3, on the Narew River.
The castle in Tykocin has Renaissance origins; in the times of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth it served residential and defensive functions, as well as a treasury and an arsenal. Polish kings, among others, were associated with the place. After a period of destruction the castle was reconstructed and made available for visiting.

The site is in Tykocin on the Narew; access by car.
