A historic bishops' castle located on the left bank of the Warta in Uniejów (Łódź Voivodeship), one of the town's main monuments.
The castle was built between 1360 and 1365 on the site of an earlier wooden fortalice. The building was initiated by Jarosław Bogoria Skotnicki, Archbishop of Gniezno.
Today the castle operates as a hotel, conference centre and restaurant, so visiting the site is limited. The castle is surrounded by a park, and Uniejów is famous for its thermal complex.
The site is open year-round as a hotel; visiting the interiors is limited due to the hotel function.
The castle is in the centre of Uniejów, on the left bank of the Warta, near the Uniejów thermal baths.
