A less crowded alternative for reaching the Połonina Wetlińska - the red trail from the village of Smerek over the Smerek peak (1222 m a.s.l.) and the Orłowicz Pass, along the ridge all the way to Hasiakowa Skała (a new mountain hut since 2022) and Osadzki Wierch.
The route offers wide panoramas from the entire ridge of the Połonina Wetlińska; longer and more demanding than the popular ascent from Brzegi Górne, but less frequented.
