Castle of the Dukes of Pomerania in Darłowo

The Castle of the Dukes of Pomerania in Darłowo (West Pomerania Province) dates from the 14th century and is currently a Regional Museum.

History

Eric of Pomerania - later King of Denmark, Sweden and Norway - was born and raised in the castle.

Collections

The museum holds rich artistic-historical, ethnographic, fishing-maritime and natural-history collections.

1 May-31 August: daily 10:00-18:00 (ticket office until 17:00). 1-30 September: daily 10:00-16:00. Low season (1 January-30 April and 1 October-31 December): Wednesday-Sunday 10:00-16:00; closed Monday and Tuesday.
