Iłża Castle

Ruins of the Gothic-Renaissance castle of the Kraków bishops in Iłża (Masovian Voivodeship). Built on a high hill in the eastern part of the town, it is visible from afar.

Description

The castle's landmark is a tall cylindrical tower, roofed with a distinctive cap. You can climb it to admire the view of the surroundings and the ruins.

Events

A Knights' Tournament is held every year in the ruins of the lower castle (usually in May).

Seasonality and hours

On Świętego Franciszka Street, at the foot of the castle, there is a free car park.
