A Renaissance fortalice (knights' castle) in Sobków (Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship), about 25 km from Kielce and 15 km from Jędrzejów.
The castle was built between 1560 and 1570 on the orders of Stanisław Sobek of Sulejów, castellan of Biecz, starost of Lesser Poland and Grand Treasurer of the Crown.
Birds of prey are kept on the grounds, fed and released daily at 13:30. Carriage rides (sleigh rides in winter) and horse riding are available. There is a restaurant and guest rooms.
Walking around the courtyard and touring the palace ruins is ticket-free. The restaurant is open daily; it is best to plan a visit no later than 17:00.
