Eastern Green Velo Cycling Route - Subcarpathian section

The Subcarpathian section of the Green Velo route is about 459 km long and is divided into the routes: the Sandomierz Land and the Lower San Valley, the Carpathian Foothills, and Roztocze.

Location and surroundings

The route runs, among others, through Rzeszów (along the Wisłok) and towards Przemyśl. From Przemyśl you can continue towards the Bieszczady and the Low Beskids.

What to see

  • The San and Wisłok valleys
  • Leżajsk with its monastery complex
  • The Carpathian Foothills

Who it is for

For cycling tourists - lowland sections for families, mountainous areas near the Bieszczady more demanding.
