Ciechocinek is a lowland statutory health resort in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, one of the best-known in Poland, famous for its brine graduation towers and balneological traditions dating back to the 19th century.
The town is situated in the Vistula valley. The heart of the resort is a complex of historic brine graduation towers and the Spa Park.
Three brine graduation towers with a total length of about 1742 m and a height of nearly 16 m are among the largest wooden graduation towers in Europe and form a natural inhalatorium. The complex was built in the years 1824-1828 (towers I and II) and 1859 (tower III). Between the towers, the Graduation Tower Park with a thermal-brine pool was created.
