Iwonicz-Zdrój is one of the oldest spa towns in the Subcarpathia region, located on the edge of the Beskid Niski and visited each year by tens of thousands of spa patients and tourists.
The town lies in a picturesque valley amid the forests of the Beskid Niski.
The Iwonicz waters are iodide waters as well as chloride-bicarbonate-sodium waters with anti-inflammatory properties. The historic Spa Park was established in 1837 on the initiative of the Załuski family (over 4 ha).
