Lądek-Zdrój is one of the oldest spa towns in Poland, located in the Kłodzko region of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, with a centuries-old tradition of thermal baths.
The town lies in the valley of the Biała Lądecka, surrounded by mountains (the Śnieżnik Massif, the Golden Mountains).
The most famous facility is the "Zdrój Wojciech" natural-therapy establishment, built over a hot healing spring (thoroughly rebuilt in 1881 in the neo-Baroque style), with a circular thermal pool. The oldest establishment, "Jerzy", is also in operation.
