Jelenia Góra - Cieplice Śląskie-Zdrój, woj. dolnośląskie
Cieplice Śląskie-Zdrój is the oldest Polish health resort (a tradition dating back to 1281), today a district of Jelenia Góra, famous for its hot thermal springs.
The resort lies in the Jelenia Góra Valley at the foot of the Karkonosze Mountains.
The Cieplice waters are weakly mineralised, saturated with fluorine and silica; they are among the warmest of their kind in Poland. The Cieplice Thermal Baths (opened in 2014) and the historic Spa Park are in operation.
