Świnoujście

Świnoujście is a statutory seaside health resort in the north-western part of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, at the mouth of the Świna into the Baltic Sea, spread across the islands of Uznam, Wolin and Karsibór.

The town lies on islands by the German border.

What is on offer

The therapeutic resources are natural mineral waters (bromide-iodide-sodium brine) and peloid mud; the sea climate is mildly stimulating. Exploitation of the brine springs began in 1897, and in 1910 a spa house and spa park were opened.
