Ustroń is the only town in the Silesian Beskids to hold the status of a health resort, one of the largest spa centres in this part of Europe.
The town lies between the slopes of Równica and Czantoria, in the Vistula valley.
In the 19th century, deposits of peloid mud and springs of ferruginous waters were discovered here. The peloid mud is used therapeutically. The heart of the resort is the Kuracyjny Park (Spa Park).
For patients as well as tourists (a cable car to Czantoria is nearby).

The resort is open all year round.
Access by road and rail; Wisła and Cieszyn are nearby.
