Goczałkowice-Zdrój is a health resort in the Pszczyna County in the Silesian Voivodeship, one of the region's larger rheumatological and rehabilitation centres.
The town is located in Upper Silesia, near Lake Goczałkowice.
Since 1856 the resort has made use of the brine and peloid mud discovered here. The sodium chloride brine is enriched with iodine, bromine, iron and magnesium; the peloid mud comes from the Rudołtowice deposit.
For patients treating, among others, the locomotor system, rheumatic diseases and the respiratory system.
