Solec-Zdrój is a peaceful health resort in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, famous for the strongest sulphide waters in Poland.
The town lies within the Spa Park, about 20 km from Busko-Zdrój, about 70 km from Kielce.
The basis of treatment are sulphide brines drawn from a depth of about 170 m, containing sulphide, chloride, bromide, iodide, boron and other ions. The sulphide water, with a sulphide ion concentration of about 103 mg/l, is considered the strongest in Poland.
