Czerniawa-Zdrój is a small, picturesquely situated spa in the Sudetes, lying in a deep basin between the Stóg and Smrek ridges, administratively a district of Świeradów-Zdrój in the Lubań County. It forms a joint spa complex with Świeradów-Zdrój.
The spa's history is connected with mineral water containing radon, whose properties were already known in the 12th century; the first patients arrived here in 1826. Its distinctive microclimate makes Czerniawa a place particularly well suited to treating children and to the recreation of adults.
