Wieś Węgierska Górka
Rysianka rises to 1,322 m above sea level and, together with Lipowski Wierch, forms a broad massif clearly visible from the valley. The summit is forested, and the views open up from two clearings: the small Hala Koziorka to the north-west and the larger Hala Rysianka to the south-east. Both are remnants of former shepherding.
From Hala Rysianka you can see the panorama of Pilsko and Babia Góra, and in good visibility also the Tatras and Malá Fatra. The „Pod Rysianką” nature reserve lies right next to it. No marked trail leads to the very summit — it is reached by a path from the PTTK mountain hut, less than half a kilometre away.
Several trails lead to Rysianka: the red one from Węgierska Górka (approx. 6 hours), the green from Milówka and the blue from Złatna (approx. 5 hours each), and the yellow from Rajcza. In winter a ski lift and cross-country tracks operate near the hut; in summer the area is criss-crossed with hiking and cycling paths.
