Wieś Rzyki
Leskowiec rises to 922 m above sea level directly above the village of Rzyki in the Wadowice district. Together with the neighbouring Groń Jana Pawła II it forms the most visited part of the Little Beskids. The summit is covered by a broad clearing — a remnant of former shepherding — with a wooden cross and a shepherd's hut.
From the clearing you can see the Żywiec and Maków Beskids, Babia Góra and Pilsko, as well as the Polica and Jałowiec ranges. Locals call the hill Hrabskie Buty. Karol Wojtyła often came here in his youth, which still draws pilgrimage groups to the top.
The red Little Beskid Trail runs across the summit. Alternatives include the yellow route from Gorzeń Górny (approx. 4 hours), the steep black one from Rzyki Jagódki (approx. 1.5 hours), and the blue trail from Wadowice and the green one from Andrychów. All approaches are well marked and passable year-round.
