Lądek-Zdrój
Trojak is a broad, forested peak in the Góry Złote range, towering over the spa town of Lądek-Zdrój. The walk starts just beyond the spa district and passes the area of the wellness centre. The elevation gain is only around 260 metres, so the easiest, blue-marked route takes about three quarters of an hour.
The summit is crowned by a large rock with a viewing platform overlooking the Kłodzko Valley and the Śnieżnik Massif. Some 300 metres further stand the Trzy Baszty (Three Towers), a striking group of rocks with a stone gate and a rocky stronghold. Another twenty minutes on foot lead to the modest remains of the medieval Karpień castle.
The route is short and undemanding, which is why families with children and spa guests use it. The path runs through forest, where the ground turns muddy after rain, and the views open only at the top — bring proper footwear and pick a clear day.
