Al. Armii Krajowej 366, Bielsko-Biała
The observation tower on Szyndzielnia was built in 2015 next to the upper station of the cable car from Bielsko-Biała and belongs to the recreational complex on the summit. Its terrace sits 18 metres up and is reached by 120 steps. It is the most easily accessible viewpoint in this part of the Beskid Śląski.
From the platform you look over the panorama of Bielsko-Biała and the ridges of the Beskid Mały, Beskid Śląski and Beskid Żywiecki. In clear conditions Babia Góra, Pilsko and even the Tatras can be picked out. Observation telescopes with twenty-five times magnification are mounted on the terrace to help spot distant summits.
The tower is open on the days when the cable car to Szyndzielnia runs, so it is best to plan the trip around its timetable. The summit can also be reached on foot along marked trails from Bielsko-Biała. The popular „Rock’n’rolla” cycling route passes nearby.
