ul. Magurka Wilkowicka 7, Bielsko-Biała
Magurka Wilkowicka rises to 909 m above sea level and ranks among the highest peaks of the Beskid Mały range. It lies within the boundaries of Bielsko-Biała, above the valley that separates the range from the Beskid Śląski. Spruce and beech forests cover the broad, dome-shaped ridge, while the summit area is partly cleared.
The top opens up a large part of the Beskids: Skrzyczne, Klimczok, Pilsko, Wielka Racza and Babia Góra, and in clear weather even the Tatras. A PTTK mountain hut dating from the early twentieth century stands at the summit, serving meals and offering beds, alongside a radio and television transmitter mast that is a landmark of the whole range.
The peak can be reached from many directions. The fastest is the green trail from Bielsko-Biała Straconka via Hańderkula: roughly four kilometres and an hour and a quarter of walking. Longer variants set out from Wilkowice, Łodygowice and Międzybrodzie Bialskie, and a ridge traverse also crosses the summit. The ascents are moderately demanding.
