Wieś Karłów
Radkowskie Skały are a group of sandstone tors in the northern part of the Stołowe Mountains in the Central Sudetes. They lie at around 600–700 m above sea level, not far from the village of Karłów in the Kłodzko district. Weathering and erosion have carved towers, pulpits and clefts of strikingly varied shapes.
Commemorative inscriptions cut by members of the Silesian Society in the first half of the twentieth century survive on the rock walls. The crags have long attracted climbers: many routes of differing difficulty have been laid out here. From the edge of the escarpment you can see the Radków basin and the neighbouring Sudetes ranges, while the forest below frames the formation naturally.
Several paths branching off the Road above the Precipice lead to the rocks. The Road of a Hundred Bends runs at their foot, linking Radków with Kudowa-Zdrój via Karłów; a forest car park beside it puts the rocks within a walk of a little over ten minutes. Szczeliniec Wielki and Błędne Skały lie nearby.
