Kudowa-Zdrój
Altana Miłości stands on the summit of Góra Parkowa (about 440 m above sea level), the highest point in Kudowa-Zdrój. The hill adjoins the spa park and together they form an extensive forest and parkland complex in the heart of the resort. The gazebo itself is a wooden structure from the early 20th century, built in an Art Nouveau spirit.
From the gazebo a panorama opens over the Góry Lewińskie and the distant Orlickie Foothills, and closer by over the historic spa park and the roofs of the town. During renovation the metal balustrade was replaced with a wooden one, restoring the former character of the building. Couples leave padlocks here, and that is where the present name comes from.
A green marked trail towards Błędne Skały leads to the gazebo; the walk from the centre of Kudowa takes about 20 minutes. The ascent is gentle and the paths are surfaced only on the lower section. A visit combines easily with the spa park and the pump room.
