A platform on a rocky ridge

The Koci Grzbiet viewpoint lies at 651 m above sea level in the Owl Mountains, above Bielawa in the Dzierżoniów district. The platform was set on a steep ridge, so it rises above the treetops and opens up views in several directions at once.

What you can see

From the terrace there is a panorama of the Dzierżoniów Basin with the outline of Ślęża on the horizon, and on the opposite side Ciemny Jar and Kalenica. The nature trail leading here lets you observe the rich flora and fauna of the local forests along the way, so the approach itself becomes part of the attraction.

Getting there

The climb is not difficult and requires neither mountain experience nor particular fitness. The shortest route is about a kilometre long and starts at the parking area next to Leśny Dworek on Nowobielska Street in Bielawa. An information board there shows the way to the viewpoint.
