Wieś Soblówka
Wielka Rycerzowa (1226 m above sea level) belongs to the Wielka Racza group in the Żywiec Beskids and lies on the Polish-Slovak border, between Majcherowa and Świtkowa. The summit is largely wooded, so the top itself offers no wide panorama. The viewpoint is Hala Rycerzowa, a meadow slightly lower down.
From the meadow you can see the Silesian Beskids, the Lipowska and Pilsko ridges and, in good weather, the Babia Góra massif. A PTTK bacówka hut stands on the clearing and serves as a shelter — a natural stop before continuing along the ridge. The clearing and the woods near the top are thick with bilberry.
A yellow trail leads from Soblówka to the summit, about 5.2 km long; the walk takes around 2 hours 40 minutes. It is a typical Beskid route: a long climb on a forest road, technically easy but demanding in terms of stamina.
