A wooden tower in the treetops

The observation tower in Krynica-Zdrój stands on a slope of the Sądecki Beskids, among the treetops. The wooden structure measures 49.5 metres and was built between 2017 and 2019. It is reached by a nature and education trail 1030 metres long, climbing gently from the lower station to the base of the tower.

The trail and the views

Educational installations along the route tell the story of the region's nature and history, giving the walk an extra dimension. From the tower's platforms you can see the spa district of Krynica, the wooded ridges of the Sądecki Beskids surrounding it and the valleys dropping towards the Kryniczanka river.

For families

The main draw for children is a 60-metre slide installed by the tower. You can get up by a six-seater chairlift or walk up the surfaced scenic road. The site is open all year, and ticket details are given by the operator.
