A summit above Wisła Głębce

Kozińce (775 m a.s.l.) is a rounded peak in the Silesian Beskids rising above the Głębce district of Wisła and the Kubalonka Pass. The name recalls the goats once grazed on the local pastures. Broad clearings cover the upper slopes, while the lower ones remain forested.

Views and buildings on the top

The open meadows give views of Wisła, the Biała Wisełka valley and the ridge of Barania Góra and Stożek. On the summit stands the building of a former tourist hostel, also known as the youth hostel, and next to it a transmitter mast from the 1960s, clearly visible from the surrounding peaks.

How to get up

The most convenient approach follows the yellow trail from the Wisła Głębce railway station and takes roughly 40 to 60 minutes. The green trail from the Kubalonka Pass, where a car park lies by the regional road, is shorter. The wide, gentle paths also work well as a family walk.

  • Car park at the Kubalonka Pass by the trailhead
  • Marked yellow and green trails
  • Train access to the Wisła Głębce station
Cost: Free admission Visit duration: approx. 2 hours Seasonality: Year-round; cross-country ski trails near Kubalonka in winter
