Wieś Konina
Kudłoń (1,274 m above sea level) rises in the central part of the Gorce range, inside the Gorce National Park, above the village of Konina in the Limanowa district. In terms of height it ranks fourth in the range and is one of its most distinctive summits.
The mountain owes its fame to wide clearings where sheep used to be grazed. The grazing has ended, but the open space remains — from the Kudłoń clearing a panorama of the Wyspowy Beskid unfolds. This area also holds the largest concentration of sandstone rocks in the Gorce, the best known being Kudłońska Baca on the northern slopes. Small caves hide in the hillsides: Szelina w Kudłoniu and Kudłońska Koleba.
From the village of Konina a black-marked trail 4.6 km long leads to the summit and takes about an hour and a quarter. The climb is best included in a longer loop along the Gorce ridge.
