Wieś Brodnica Górna
The Złota Góra viewpoint stands on the Brodnica Plateau near Brodnica Górna in the Kartuzy district, at about 190 m above sea level. The platform sits right at the junction of the Kartuzy–Stężyca and Kartuzy–Ostrzyce roads, which makes access unusually easy.
From the terrace you look out over Lake Wielkie Brodno and Lake Ostrzyckie, set in the moraine landscape of Kashubia. Złota Góra itself, a hill of 235.1 m above sea level, belongs to the Szymbark Hills. At its foot an annual Kashubian festival is held on the first Sunday of July.
Right next to it operates the Water Sports and Regional Promotion Centre, a sports and leisure complex with an open-air stage and an amphitheatre shaped like an upturned boat. The monument to the Heroes of the Gdańsk Pomerania Resistance also stands here. A good stop on the way to Lake Ostrzyckie.
