A hill above Mysłakowice

Krzyżowa Góra is a small hill in the Jelenia Góra Valley, right next to Mysłakowice. The top is crowned by a group of granite rocks reaching a dozen or so metres, typical of the whole region. The climb is short and gentle, which makes the hill a good target for an afternoon walk.

The Cross of the Three Prussian Kings

In 1874 a small granite pavilion was built below the summit, and the Cross of the Three Prussian Kings was placed on it. The monument recalls the time when the Jelenia Góra Valley was a fashionable summer retreat of the Prussian aristocracy and the surrounding hills were arranged as viewpoints and walking destinations.

Views and access

The summit once offered a wide panorama of the valley; today the slopes have grown over and the view is limited to gaps between the trees. The way up starts at the Chata za Wsią restaurant and leads uphill towards the woods to the green trail — from there only about 300 metres remain.
