Głuchołazy
Biskupia Kopa rises on the Polish-Czech border above Jarnołtówek. Its summit is crowned by an 18-metre stone tower opened in the late 19th century; formally it stands on the Czech side, yet it is open to visitors from Poland as well.
From the platform you can see Lake Nyskie and Lake Otmuchowskie, the Śnieżnik Massif and, in good visibility, the ridges of the Karkonosze and the Stołowe Mountains. To the south the Czech side of the range unfolds. Clear early-autumn days offer the best conditions.
The most popular approach is the red trail from Jarnołtówek — just under four kilometres and about two hours of walking. The Schronisko pod Biskupią Kopą mountain hut with a snack bar stands next to the tower. The climb is tiring for small children but needs no equipment.
